How much will the Next Gen Car Update cost?
The NASCAR Heat 5 - Next Gen Car Update will cost $9.99 and will be available on Xbox, PlayStation and Steam (PC).
Is this just a scheme update to the current cars in-game?
No, the development team has worked to include the Next Gen models of each manufacturer – Chevrolet, Ford and Toyota. We have also updated in-game engine audio to reflect the current car and engine package. These audio recordings were conducted at ECR Engines and Roush Yates Engines.
What areas of NASCAR Heat 5 will the Next Gen Car Update be available?
Players will be able to utilize the NASCAR Heat 5 - Next Gen Car Update content in Career, Race Now, Online Multiplayer, Championship, Test Session, and Split Screen. The option to customize a player’s car in Career mode is no longer available.
Have the race events in NASCAR Heat 5 been updated and new tracks added?
The race events and schedule will reflect the tracks currently available in NASCAR Heat 5, and will not be updated as part of the NASCAR Heat 5 - Next Gen Car Update. Tracks that were already included in NASCAR Heat 5, such as Auto Club Speedway, Bristol Dirt, Road America, and WWT Raceway, will be available to use with the Next Gen Car Update. Reconfigured Atlanta Motor Speedway and Sonoma Raceway, Circuit of the Americas, the LA Coliseum, and Nashville Speedway are not available. The race events at each track have also not been updated.
Will the Next Gen Car Update include updates to the NASCAR Support Series?
No, only the NASCAR Cup Series will be updated as part of the NASCAR Heat 5 - Next Gen Car Update.
Are players able to customize their Next Gen cars with the Next Gen Car Update?
The Paint Booth is not available for the NASCAR Heat 5 - Next Gen Car Update and customizing a player’s car in Career mode is no longer an option.
Will the Next Gen Car Update be an option for online multiplayer?
Yes, players will be able to compete online using the NASCAR Heat 5 - Next Gen Car Update DLC content. New servers were built for the 2022 content, with setting and customization options remaining the same.
